Ryan Reynolds owned this house in the Hollywood Hills for a long time.  The two bedroom home is a  modest 1400 sf.  Reynolds owned this home before he had married and divorced actress, Scarlet Johansson.  There are rumors floating that Mr. Reynolds wants a place in downtown New York.  He had been spotted apt hunting in the Tribeca area.

R.E.M. announced this week that they were breaking up.  The group
has been together since 1980 and released their first single, Radio Free Europe  in 1981.  Michael Stipe and Peter Buck had met in Athens, Georgia when they worked at a record company together.
The group is one of the most successful Indie Rock groups of all time. In 2007 they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.  It has been reported that the group will be releasing an album  , Part Lies, Part Heart, Part Truth, Part Garbage.  It will feature their greatest hits from 1982-2011.  It is expected to be released in November 2011.

Rosie O'Donnell just purchased this 2.5 million dollar home located in Chicago, Illinois. The  6000 sf house has 5 bedrooms and  7 baths.   She will be living there while she  host her new talk  show that will air on the O Network and taped at Harpo Studios, the old home of Oprah.

It was reported today that the premiere show of, Two and a Half Men on CBS had a huge success with the Nielson ratings bringing in 28 million viewers.  The same premiere show from 2010 of Two and a Half Men was just over 14 million.  According to the Hollywood Reporter, the only time the ratings came close to last night was on May 16th. 2005.  It should be noted that many of the reviews were bad of the show.  There were many complaints about Ashton Kutcher stating that he just was not that funny.

Tonight, was the big night for the premiere of Two and a Half Men on CBS  without Charlie Sheen.  The show opens with Jon Cryer( Charlie Sheen's) brother at his funeral.  The show was full of sick jokes made by women who knew Charlie Harper,  ridiculing Sheen's character on the show.  About half way through the show Ashton Kutcher stepped in and the show becomes alive.  He is funny and a bit of a goofball.  Kutcher brought a fresh feel to the show.  He appears to be younger than Sheen's character and more goofy.  There is no doubt that Kutcher will bring a younger audience to the show.  Some of the old Kutcher fans from That 70's Show will probably be on board to watch too.

Delores Hope, wife of Actor Bob died today of natural causes  at the age of 102 year in California.  She was born Delores DeFina in Manhattan and grew up in the Bronx, New York. She married Bob Hope in 1934.  The couple was married for 69 years.  Mr Hope had died in 2003 at the age of 100.

Charlie Sheen's New TV Show: "Anger Management" Will Begin Filming in December

Charlie Sheen told Wendy Willams today on her show that he will be back on TV in about a year.  He will star in, Anger Mangagement, a show based on the TV show that starred Robert DeNiro.  He will play the therapist and filming will begin in December 2011.  He is sure to be back bigger and better than and a Two Half Men.

Word is out that Paul McCartney had registered in London at the Westminster Register office at Old Marylebone Town Hall in London Hall this past Wednesday according to the Daily Mail.
The 69 year old singer will be marrying for a 3rd time to an American from New York, Nancy Shevelle who is 18 years younger than he.  She is currently 51 years old.  The marriage will take place in London at the same place as where he married Linda Eastman more than 40 years ago. She had died from breast cancer in April, 1998.  Nancy Shevelle was married once before to a lawyer in Manhattan and lived in East Hampton Long Island.  That is where Paul had met her.  Prior to the Shevelle marriage, McCartney was married to Heather Mills in 2002 and separated in 2006.  By 2008 the couple were divorced.  They had a little girl named Beatrice who they both share time with.  According to the register of London the couple may be married as early as October 2011 and have a full 12 months.  This is the same place as where Paul married Linda more than 40 years ago.
