You have no chance to survive make your time....

Ten years has passed since I first saw this old meme on SomethingAwful forums...and to be quite honest, I'd completely forgotten about it after it's hay-day ended some time in 2003.  This afternoon however,  I was driving home from work with the top off the Jeep and I got stuck at the same damned, slow-ass traffic light underneath a highway overpass that's gotten me a few thousand times over the past six or seven years.  Feeling the same sense of exasperation I do every other time (the other half is a sense of rage), I closed my eyes and leaned my head back against the headrest.

When I opened my eyes I expected to see the same old grimy concrete, John Deere green-painted beams, and that damned traffic light...mocking me.  Maybe I'll get lucky and see a nice chunk of crumbling concrete infrastructure, just before it hits me in the face...then sue the DOT and never have to make this god awful commute, ever again.  Instead, there it was, freshly spray painted in all of  it's graffiti-ese glory: All Your Base Are Belong To Us.

Sound of Silence

In other news, I got up at five this morning for the sole purpose of listening to the double sonic booms that accompany the Space Shuttle landing over at the Cape....one last time.

Pull To Start

Somehow I don't think Kimmie really appreciates the "pull-start" method.  Damnit Shego....that ain't no chainsaw you're crankin' up!

What's My Motivation Here?

Occassionally (rarely) I come to a juncture where I have to ask myself, "What's my motivation here?"  Yeah, I know....that's a little cliche, but sometimes even I lose all interest in a pic.  Normally they simply sit dormant in my "wanna color" desktop folder until I can unearth some motivation and complete them, but this one's been sitting in said folder decomposing for roughly two years now.  It's "fresh before" date has long since expired.

Look familiar?  Yeah, it should...usually you'll see a variant (edited) version with Shego and an "extra long" Ron.

Kim x Buffy

To dispel any rumors to the contrary, I was never a fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer...the movie nor the series.  Likewise, you can probably thank Buffy (what with all the bloodsucker love triangles) for the present-day shiny / glittery vampire love triangles.  Thanks Buffy, thanks a lot.  Call me old school if you like, but I still prefer my Nosferatu Bela Lugosi style.

On the other hand, cheerleader love triangles = win!
